SINGER-actress Zsa Zsa Padilla and her architect fiancé Conrad Onglao have called it quits, according to Karylle, daughter of Padilla.
“Siyempre dumadaan tayo sa magandang part ng buhay, minsan may malungkot, pero ang importante naman her family and friends are behind her,” said Karylle, in an interview for “Chika Minute” portion of “24 Oras” aired over GMA 7.
“Kausap ko ’yung mga kapatid niya sa states at all out support naman sila and love,” added Karylle. She also appealed to people to give her mom privacy.
From San Lorenzo Village in Makati City, where Padilla and Onglao stayed, Padilla has reportedly returned to the house she used to share with the late Comedy King Dolphy in Marina Bay, Parañaque City.
Reports said that the break-up happened in less than two weeks. But Karylle said that she still does not know the real reason behind it.
Padilla, who currently appears in the hit primetime teleserye “The Story of Us,” has kept mum about the issue.
On April 30, Padilla posted on Instagram: “No talk until tomorrow. Recuperating but I still had to work yesterday.
Glad that I’m able to rest this weekend. When I’m quiet. That is when I hear God talking to me. Thank you, Jesus, for blessing me and my family.”
On Sept. 4, 2015, Padilla, 51, formally announced her engagement to Onglao, 60. She even posted a photo of her engagement ring on IG.
Padilla said that Onglao proposed to her during the ASAP 20 Live in London show. They had planned to get married in Italy in 2016.
Padilla was in a relationship with Dolphy for 23 years until the actor passed away in 2012.
The Divine Diva’s marriage to former husband Dr. Modesto Tatlonghari had also been annulled in 2011.
