TARLAC CITY – It took President Aquino almost an hour to complete his glitch-free voting experience in his home province of Tarlac.
Listed voter number four in precinct No. 175-A, the President arrived at the Central Azucarera de Tarlac elementary school at around 9:20 a.m. to cast his ballot for administration ticket led by Mar Roxas on Election Day. Aquino, wearing a light brown polo shirt and jeans, was joined by his sisters Ballsy Cruz and Pinky Abellada and other relatives.
No special treatment was given to the President and his kin as they waited in line outside the polling precinct for 30 minutes. Plastic chairs were provided for voters while waiting for their turn under the sun.
Shortly before 10 a.m, the President went inside the polling center and cast his vote with a kodigo of a list of preferred candidates at hand. It took some time before Aquino was able to complete his ballot.
After filling out his ballot, Aquino placed it on the vote counting machine and had his forefinger marked with indelible ink. He had no complaints when checked the voter receipt. A photo session with the election personnel was granted by Aquino afterwards.
The President was done voting at 10:15 a.m.
Aquino did not grant any media interview and returned to the Palace to monitor election-related development.
