(Panaad Stadium, Bacolod City)
7 p.m. – Ceres vs Sheikh Jamal
(National Stadium, Maldives)
8 p.m. – New Radiant vs Kaya
Kaya aims to grab its last chance to make the knockout stage while Ceres-La Salle shoots for home field advantage in the next round in the final matchday of the AFC Cup tonight.
Failing to enter the round of 16 the last time out, Kaya is eager not to let a golden opportunity slip away as it plays Maldivian side New Radiant at 8 p.m. Philippine time at the National Stadium in Male.
Over at the Panaad Stadium in Bacolod City, Ceres, already assured of a knockout stage berth, battles Bangladeshi club Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi at 7 p.m. needing a win to assure themselves of a home match in the round of 16 slated two weeks from today.
All Kaya needs is a draw to confirm its place in the next phase, even if Singaporean side Balestier Khalsa beats Hong Kong’s Kitchee for winning all of their two matches in the group stage.
But Kaya can aim higher with a win and a Kitchee loss, which would give them a home match in the knockout stage.
Kitchee leads Group F with 10 points, Kaya is at second with nine points while Balestier is in third with seven points.
