A number of alleged discrepancies was reported to the Commission on Elections (Comelec), yesterday, during the canvassing of votes at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City.
The camp of senatorial candidate Juan Miguel Zubiri showed the difference between the number of votes from the Central Service (CS) and the figures from the Transparency Server (TS).
In Misamis Oriental, the CS recorded 222,569 votes for Zubiri while the TS disclosed that the senator has 385,410.
In Davao del Norte, the CS recorded 184,262 while the TS got 186, 725. In Laguna, the CT recorded 488,821 while the TS revealed 491, 980.
The counsel of senatoriable Francis Tolentino also reported a discrepancy. It was disclosed that the CS recorded 137,019 votes for Tolentino in Zamboanga del Sur while the TS recorded 205,323.
Moreover, it was reported to the Comelec, that the CS recorded 113,465 votes for senatoriable Ralph Recto in Davao del Norte while the TS recorded 114,367; while in Ilocos Sur, the CS recorded 96,718 votes for senatoriable Ralph Recto in Davao del Norte while the TS recorded 97,342.
Comelec Chairman Bautista assured that investigations will be conducted in response to the aforementioned reports.
