CAMP JULIAN OLIVAS, Pampanga – A 49-year-old man was arrested for allegedly raping an 11-year-old girl inside her house in Barangay Sta. Clara, Sta. Maria, Bulacan Monday, police said yesterday.
Reports reaching Senior Supt Romeo M. Caramat Jr., acting Bulacan police director, from Senior Supt Angel L. Garcillano, Sta. Maria police officer-in-charge, said the incident happened at around 1 p.m.
Investigation showed that the victim was alone when the suspect, a widower from Valenzuela City and the victim’s neighbor, barged inside her house.
Garcillano said the victim tried to get out when she saw the suspect entering her house. However, the suspect stopped her, poked a knife, and forcibly brought her to her bed and raped her.
