Four persons, including a seven-year-old boy and his 44-year-old father, were killed in three separate vehicular accidents in Quezon City.
Reports reaching the Quezon City Police District-District Traffic Enforcement Unit identified three of the victims as Virgelio Ombao, 36, of Sto. Domingo St., Quezon City; and Gener Lansangan Macalino, 44, and his seven-year-old son Macalino, both residents of Barangay Bagong Silang, Quezon City.
The fourth victim was unidentified and was described to be around 35 to 40-years-old, about 5’0”, medium built, and wearing blue pants and black shirt.
Reports said that Ombao was killed in a hit and run incident on Commonwealth Ave. in front of the Iglesia ni Cristo Central Office near Central Ave., Barangay New Era at 5 a.m. Friday.
Ombao was driving a Suzuki motorcycle when he was hit and ran over by a Daewoo passenger bus (UWE-214). The driver of the passenger bus, Mark L. Remoto, 31, married, of Pang Alat Village, Caloocan City, fled.
Police said Ombao died on the spot due to severe head injuries.
Gener and his son died after they met an accident while on board a Motorstar Scooter (3320-UF).
