TOO COMPASSIONATE – “I plead guilty.”
In those words, more or less, Sharon Cuneta admits her “crime.” Which is being too kind, too diplomatic in acting as juror in contests like “Star Power” and “Your Face Sounds Familiar,” both for ABS-CBN.
Sharon’s also being too transparent with her emotion – crying, laughing too much, too often.
For that she’s been bashed in social media, in which she used to react, “patola queen.”
But then that’s how Sharon is, too compassionate too open.
But then, in fairness to Sharon, in those television shows the deserving winners came out.

‘THE VOICE KIDS’ – Now, again the Megastar is playing coach and juror in the upcoming “The Voice Kids” on ABS-CBN.
Sharon promises to be less compassionate, less open, realizing she’s been lambasted for it. But then she admits she can’t be cruel or too outspoken when judging or coaching kids who aspire to be singers… even a Megastar like her.
“How can I hurt children? I’ll be fair but I’ll never stop them from dreaming because of harsh words,” says Sharon.
At the presscon of “The Voice Kids” (no definite date of airing yet), the two former grand winners sang Sharon’s signature songs, “Bituing Walang Ningning” (garbage “collector” Laica) and “Pangarap na Bituin” (banana cue vendor Ella).
Presscon emcee was the charming and suave Robi Domingo.

UPCOMING MOVIE – Yes, by August Sharon hopes to start a movie, a big one worthy of a Megastar.
But Sharon isn’t at liberty to divulge details like leading man, director, script. But she assures it’ll be an exciting project.
She might also host a solo show – musical or even talk. But it’s in the planning stage.
Sharon has lost 30 pounds or so and promises to lose more before her movie starts.
So there. She’s finally winning her eternal battle with the bulge.
