ACTRESS Angelica Panganiban has admitted that she has not completely recovered from her failed relationship with John Lloyd Cruz.
Kapag nakita ko, ano ba iyan, ‘yan na naman, maiiyak na naman ako,” said Panganiban, during an interview in “Gandang Gabi Vice” aired over ABS-CBN.
Cruz and Panganiban have called it quits on Jan. 16, 2016, after more than three years of being in a relationship.
Panganiban, 29, also told the ace comedian that it was Cruz who would usually make the first text.
“S’ya yang nauuna mag-text. Noong umpisa parang broken na broken ka. Ang dami mo pang gustong sabihin. Ang sakit-sakit naman nito. Tama ba ’yung desisyon natin?” the actress recalled.
Asked how she stays positive, Panganiban told Vice Ganda: “Pabaliw na nga eh.”
Panganiban, 29, has said that she never opens up her love life to her family or friends.
Bangon,’” said Panganiban, as she got emotional.
Vice Ganda embraced her and said that he did not want to see his guests crying on his show. “Pero para sa TV ratings sige lang,” the ace comedian said in jest.
Panganiban, who appears in the weekly gag show “Banana Sundae,” hopes that her next boyfriend will not be a popular actor.
“Lesson learned talaga, huwag sikat. ‘Yun ang hinahanap ko ngayon, ‘yung lalaking tulala,” she said.
Panganiban revealed that she still avoids places that are memorable for her and Cruz.
Months after they went on separate ways, they still text each other, she said.
Panganiban said that she has not deleted her happy photos with Cruz on her social media account.
“Siguro wala akong bitterness. Wala akong ill feelings sa kahit kanino. Hindi talaga [ako galit sa kanya]. Kasi ’di ba hindi n’yo na na-save ‘yung relationship n’yo as a couple, why not save your relationship bilang magkaibigan?” she said.
Panganiban also said that she does not regret being with Cruz.
Aside from Cruz, Panganiban was previously in relationships with actors Derek Ramsay and Carlo Aquino. She was also linked to actor J.B. Magsaysay.
