POST ECHORSIS: Brave new film outfit Insight 360 has announced it is heading straight up to its second film after the mildly successful run of its maiden offering, the gay comedy-drama “Echorsis.”
Chris Cahilig, chief producer, says he’s shopping for new actors to play major roles in his next film.
“I guess you can say the producing bug has bit me, and despite the problems I faced showing ‘Echorsis,’ I am determined to come up with a second film,” he says.
His new company’s second movie is called “Move On 101: How to Survive a Breakup in 10 Days” to be directed by Lem Lorca. Lorca also directed “Echorsis.”
“Echorsis: Sabunutan between Good and Evil” isn’t over and done with. Chris says the film’s high entertainment value has attracted buyers, including TV and cable. He also intends to take the film to international film fests, including those for gay and lesbian films.
“Echorsis” stars John Lapus, Alex Medina, and Kean Cipriano, among others. It tells the story of a gigolo possessed by the spirit of a gay man following the death of his male lover.
Chris, a journalist by training, a publicist and talent manager by profession, is also starting to write his first book, a self-help guide.

Hosted by Eugene Domingo, the show narrates love stories that are usually laced with comic scenes. “Dear Uge” airs every Sunday afternoon after “Sunday Pinasaya.”
I must say “Dear Uge” is one of the more entertaining shows on weekend TV today.
