NARITO ang isang healthy at kakaibang vegetable dish na magugustuhan ng inyong pamilya, ang Pinakbet with Crispy Danggit. Hindi pa rin nawawala sa listahan ng mga paboritong lutuin at kainin ng mga Pilipino ang Pinakbet dahil sa all-in-one na sarap at sustansya nito. Yum yum yum!
Ingredients:
¼ kg pork fat (cut into small pieces)
1 head garlic (chopped)
2 pcs red onion (diced)
2 pcs ampalaya (sliced)
2 pcs eggplant (sliced)
6 pcs okra (sliced ends trimmed then soaked in salted water)
10 pcs tomato (diced)
¼ cup bagoong alamang
1 thumb ginger (crushed and sliced)
1 ½ cup water
2 tbsp oil
Salt
Pepper
Procedure:
1. In a pot render pork fat then cook until golden brown then set aside.
2. In the same pot sauté onion, garlic and tomatoes until caramelized then add ginger and continue to cook for a minute.
3. Add water, bagoong and pork then simmer for 5 minutes. Then add vegetables then cook until vegetables are done. Season with salt and pepper.
