SINGER-actor Michael Pangilinan has admitted that he is currently in a relationship with singer Garie Concepcion, daughter of veteran actor Gabby Concepcion by Grace Ibuna.
“Ayoko ng paliguy-ligoy pa. Yes! Tito Boy,” said Pangilinan, when asked about the status of his relationship with Garie, during an interview on “Tonight with Boy Abunda” on ABS-CBN.
Despite admission about having a baby and sex-video scandal, the Ibunas and the Concepcions did not look down on him, Pangilinan said.
Abunda said that Grace is a good person who treats people equally.
Pangilinan, 20, popularized the gay-themed love song “Pare, Mahal Mo Raw Ako.” The movie inspired by the same song will hit the theaters on June 8.
Aside from Pangilinan, also starring in the same film were Edgar Allan Guzman, Joross Gamboa with special participation of Nora Aunor.
Abunda recalled the first time he saw Pangilinan who at that time interpreted the song for “Himig Handog” 2014 songwriting contest.
“You were so stiff,” laughed Abunda, who served as one of the judges for the same contest. I’m so proud of what you’ve become.”
Pangilinan also said that he was surprised at the reception of the song which did not receive any awards in the contest. His song lost to “Mahal Ko o Mahal Ako” by KZ Tandingan.
