Alabang kept its form coming off an impressive start at Eagle Ridge, posting one victory and two runner-up finishes to dominate the second leg of the 2016 WGAP Circuit at Alabang Country Club in Muntinlupa recently.
Flashing its familiarity with the rolling layout, the hosts topped Class B with 143 points and finished second to Sta. Elena in Class A and to Wack Wack in Class C for a seven-point haul that kept the former champions in the lead in the early going of the annual eight-leg circuit organized and conducted by the Women’s Golf Association of the Philippines.
Azalea Heredia fired 38 Stableford points while Greely Oposa, Mina Rhew and Vivian Chua chipped in 37, 35 and 33, respectively, as Alabang pooled a 143 and beat Sta. Elena by six for the Class B crown.
