Actress Angelica Panganiban has said that she will not allow picture-taking with anybody anymore after a disrespectful post from a fan on social media recently.
Panganiban, 29, said that she was irked by an ungrateful fan who sneered at a photo opportunity with her during a shoot of their Kapamilya gag show “Banana Sundae” in Boracay.
“Ay… Sorry ate ha? Pinagtyagaan mo ko. Sige. Ganito na lang. From now on. D na ko papayag magpapicture kahit kanino,” Panganiban said in response to the rude post of Facebook user identified as Xhainelle Perez.
It all started when Perez spotted teen stars Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo in Boracay. Perez wanted a photo op with the stars but they reportedly refused.
“And because, Daniel said: NO KATHNIEL FANS AND SELFIES ALLOWED.
“I guess I’ll be stuck with this girl (maldita). Lol like hello?
“I’m not a KathNiel fan, DJ. I AM JUST ‘YOUR’ FAN. Yours only!
“Tapos iprepresent nila si Aplde up, hello? Anong paki ko diyan.
“Ang sabi ko si DJ. DJ.DJ.DJ.DJ. DJ PADILLA,” said Perez on social media.
Panganiban then slammed Perez for her post.
“Mabuti nga dito sa Pinas, pwede kayo mag-papicture sa artista. Kahit private time namin. Kalerks,” the actress said. “Payong kaibigan. Kapag nag hi at ngumiti sayo ang idol mo be thankful. Dahil thankful din kami sa simpleng pagbati n’yo.”
Perez has already apologized to Panganiban, according to a report on “Tonight With Boy Abunda” aired over ABS-CBN.
“First of all i would like to say sorry to Miss Angelica. I would like to clarify that i was true that time when i asked you if it is okay to have a picture with you, maybe i was just shocked bout the reaction ive got.”
Abunda, commenting on the issue, said that Perez did the right thing when she apologized to Panganiban.
“Nakakalito po talaga ngayon dahil walang rules of engagement sa social media. Minsan kayong mga magulang we really have to guide our children dahil minsan hindi nila alam ang tama at mali.’’
