CAMP GEN ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan – Three people were killed while 48 others allegedly involved in illegal drugs trade were arrested in police operations in 15 towns and three cities in the province Thursday dawn up to midnight yesterday.
The anti-drugs operations also resulted in the confiscation of illegal drugs, firearms, ammunition and undocumented motorcycles.
Senior Supt. Romeo M. Caramat Jr., acting Bulacan police director, said the Bulacan police force implemented 24 search warrants and carried a buy-bust operation as part of its all-out drive against illegal drugs in the province.
Caramat said suspects Alvin Ramos, Albert Roy Blas Santos alias “Felix” and Raniel Blas Santos, all of San Miguel town, this province, were killed when they shot it out with lawmen during the raid.
Police confiscated from them 170 pieces of heat-sealed sachets containing shabu, six firearms, 18 bullets, four undocumented motorcycles and drug paraphernalia. (Freddie C. Velez)
