A 22-year-old Ateneo de Manila graduate was found dead Thursday afternoon in his apartment unit in JR Building in Halcon Street, Barangay Malamig in Mandaluyong City.
Police identified the victim as Henry Oh who worked as trainee for the Concept Development Group of ABS-CBN Film Production Inc. for two years.
Oh was discovered by his father, Benito, at 12:15 p.m., bathing in his own blood near the main door. He had a deep slash wound on his right arm.
Police said the body was found in the middle of scattered belongings. There were bloodstains on the bed leading to where the body was found.
The victim’s valuables were intact, suggesting suicide. But police are not ruling out foul play.
Also recovered from the scene was a blood-stained kitchen knife.
Oh was left alone after his sister left for Quezon at 11 a.m., initial investigation showed.
SPO2 Emmanuel Ermino said the body would undergo autopsy to shed more light on the incident.
According to his Linked In profile, Oh graduated from Ateneo with honors in 2013, completing a degree in AB Communications.
He worked as news writer for three years for his school’s newspaper, The Guidon. (BETHEENA UNITE)
