No other than Miss Earth, which, to date, has produced three winners: Karla Henry (2008), Jamie Herrel (2014), Angelia Ong (2015). Yes, a back-to-back victory for Jamie and Angela.
Beauty expert Jay P. Delgado says that Miss Earth is now considered one of the four major pageants in the world, along with Miss Universe, Miss International, and Miss World.

The coronation night is set for tonight at the UP University Theater. Earlier venue was the Aguinaldo Shrine in Kawit, Cavite, open air. But management wisely transferred to UP. A wise move considering the unpredictable weather.
Can you imagine beauties in their bikinis or long gowns getting wet and running for cover at the Shrine where General Emilio Aguinaldo proclaimed Philippine Independence on June 12?
