Five persons were arrested while still undetermined amount of suspected shabu were seized in a buy-bust operation in Quezon City yesterday.
Reports reaching the Quezon City Police District District Anti-Illegal Drugs-Special Operations Task Group identified the suspects as Manuel Morillo, Richard Basco, Anacleto Medrano, Mohammad Daud, and Ana Cristina Calixto.
Chief Insp. Enrico Figueroa, DAID-SOTG chief, said that Morillo is said to be the main supplier of shabu in Barangay San Roque, Quezon City.
Morillo was nabbed after selling R5,000 worth of shabu in one big heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet to a police poseur buyer on 18th Ave., Barangay San Roque.
Morillo then led the undercover cop to a suspected drug den where the four other suspects were caught in a pot session.
Seized from the suspects were suspected shabu and drug paraphernalia.
The drug den is said to be near two schools. The operation was conducted following complaints from concerned citizens. (Francis T. Wakefield)
