WORST TV HOST: Nothing can be more traumatic for a newbie than to be dubbed the worst TV host ever. Pro swimmer turned actor turned TV host Enchong Dee would rather thank the basher who called him such.
“Instead of getting mad, I tried to use that criticism to improve myself,” the actor told us recently.
Enchong admits he still considers himself a newbie where hosting is concerned. Even after a few seasons of “Pinoy Big Brother” where he was a segment host?
“Yes.”
Hosting, he says, poses an entirely different challenge to him. “It forces me to study, read, be quick with my mental process,” he adds.

AGRICOOLTURE TV: Recently named host of “AgriCOOLture” on the Knowledge Channel, Enchong says his background in farming comes in handy. The actor grew up in Calabanga, Camarines Sur where his parents tended a farm.
“We raised chickens and hogs,” he said.
Following a short lull in his career in the last quarter of 2015, Enchong braces for a busier 2016. He has a new dance album coming up, his second, and a new teleserye to roll just about soon. It will be with Bea Alonzo.
Enchong has a new movie, “Love You to Death,” which combines elements of romance and horror. Co-starring Kiray Celis as his partner, the movie opens on July 6, from Regal Entertainment.
He said he has had enough of bashers to last a lifetime. How to deal with them? Just ignore them.
