The intertropical convergence zone will continue to affect Southern Mindanao, bringing cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms over Davao, Caraga, and Northern Mindanao today.
Meanwhile, a high pressure area is extending over the tip of Northern Luzon. PAGASA said partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
Light to moderate winds coming from the east to southeast will prevail over Luzon. Winds will prevail from the east to northeast over the rest of the country, causing the coastal waters throughout the archipelago to be slight to moderate. (Ellalyn B. de Vera)
