A 24-year-old criminology graduate allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself yesterday in Quezon City after he broke up with his girlfriend recently.
The victim, Jhun Opiniano, of Trinidad St., San Antonio Subdivision, Barangay Nagkaisang Nayon, was found dead inside the house of his friend, Diosdado Ocampo, on Rebisco Road.
Ocampo told police that the victim went to his house to rest and asked him not to tell his family that he was there.
Ocampo went out for an errand and heard a gunshot from the house. He returned to check and found the victim slumped on the floor.
The victim’s sister told police that her brother had been depressed due to his recent break up with his girlfriend. (Vanne Elaine P. Terrazola)
