Patapos man ang kanilang termino hanggang bukas, hinikayat pa din ni comebacking senator Richard Gordon ang outgoing administration na huwag magpatumpik-tumpik pagdating sa issue ng Abu Sayyaf Group.
Ayon kay Gordon, walang dahilan para sa administrasyon ni Pangulong Noynoy Aquino na hindi na ilagay sa kanilang isipan ang isyu ng ASG.
“We should all be concerned about this development. We appear to be a failed state, not unlike Somalia,” ani Gordon.
“This has dragged on far too long in one corner of our country. This could invite a raid from other countries just like what the Israelis did to rescue their countrymen in Uganda in the 70’s.”
