COMEDY Princess Kiray Celis has said that earning money is her priority these days so that she can provide well for her family.
“Madaling magmahal pero mahirap kumita ng pera. Saka na ‘yang love pag mayaman na ako,” said Celis during an interview on “Tonight with Boy Abunda” on ABS-CBN.
When Abunda finally asked Celis to choose between love and money, she laughed and said: “Money, money, money, money, money!”
Dee gave Celis an unsolicited advice about love and encouraged her to be in a relationship to balance her life.
“Sobrang workaholic s’ya. There’s nothing wrong with money pero darating ‘yung point na dapat balanse ang money at love,” the actor said.
Both Celis and Dee are teaming-up for the first time in a comedy-horror flick entitled “I Love You to Death” which will be shown on July 6 nationwide.
Dee told Celis that “love inspires you and it makes you a better person.” He added: “It adds fire to what you’re doing.”
At 20, Celis admitted she never had a boyfriend.
Nagmamahal ako kahit hindi ako nagkakaroon ng boyfriend,” she said.
Celis did not identify the person she was referring to.
Celis denied reports that she has become boastful or arrogant now that she is starring in her second movie.
Kaya very careful ako masyado ngayon,” Celis said.
Asked to comment on her title Comedy Princess, she said: “Pwedeng princess na lang?
Celis said that she has known Dee from way back in 2010 when they did a variety program and they already went out.
Dee, 27, who has broken-up with her girlfriend fashion model Samantha Lewis recently, said that he is single but not ready to mingle.
Celis said that Dee deserves a girl who is caring, understanding and loves food.
