ALA Boxing is moving on despite the devastating defeat suffered by one of its rising stars during a well-attended event over the weekend in San Mateo, California.
“We’re excited to do an even bigger show later this year,” said ALA Boxing chief Michael Aldeger, obviously shocked by the eighth-round knockout loss sustained by super-bantam prospect Prince Albert Pagara at the hands of Mexican Cesar Juarez.
Following the loss, Pagara, 22, who came into the bout with a 26-0 card, was brought to the Stanford Medical Center in neighboring city of Palo Alto for further tests.
“Naunahan lamang tayo pero babalik tayo,” said Pagara. (NG)
