Former Vice President Jejomar C. Binay posted a P376,000 bail before the Sandiganbayan Third Division yesterday after the charges of graft, malversation, and falsification of public documents against him in connection with the allegedly overpriced P2.2-billion Makati City Hall Parking Building 2 were consolidated with the cases of his son former Makati City Mayor Jejomar Erwin S. Binay Jr.
Binay posted bail of P120,000 for four counts of graft (P30,000 each), P40,000 for one count of malversation, and P216,000 for nine counts of falsification of public documents (P24,000 each).
Binay appeared grim while he was in the Sandiganbayan and did not speak to reporters who were waiting to talk to him.
Former Mayor Binay has yet to post bail. His bail bond is at P100,000. (Czarina Nicole Ong)
