JENN STAYS ON: The better side of actress Jennylyn Mercado has decided to remain under GMA Network following the expiration of her contract recently.
“This has been my home for 10 years. I owe much of who I am today to GMA,” the actress said recently as she announced renewal of her exclusive contract with the network.
Jennylyn is poised to act in a new TV series opposite Alden Richards as well as continue hosting her cooking show.
GMA, however, remains noncommittal about Jenn’s forthcoming projects, claiming that they’re still mostly in planning stages.
What is clear is that Jenn’s contract allows her leeway to do movies outside her mother studio.
Reports have it that the actress is set to costar with Coco Martin in a rom-com movie intended for the 2016 MMFF.
Jenn neither denied nor confirmed such report.
Coco, on the other hand, hinted in a recent meet-up that Star Cinema is hatching another movie with him and Vice Ganda in the leads, also for the MMFF.
