Barangay Ginebra San Miguel has tabbed Justin Brownlee as import to replace the injured Paul Harris and the Kings expect the arrival of the former St. John’s stalwart in time for their next game in the PBA Governors’ Cup on Friday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Brownlee will replace Harris, who suffered a compound fracture on his right thumb during their game against Globalport last Saturday.
“Ginebra will bring in Justin Brownlee as their backup to Paul Harris,” said Cone in a text message yesterday.
“Paul will be out of action for four weeks and will be placed on injured reserve. Brownlee is expected to arrive Thursday.
By placing Harris on the injured list, Ginebra is hoping for his possible return this conference, especially if Brownlee ends ups a disappointment.
