The country’s golfing seniors take the spotlight next week when the Senior Professional Golfers Association of the Philippines (SPGAP) holds the New President’s Invitational Pro-Am Cup on July 25 with a big field seeing action at the Villamor Golf Club.
The event is open to professional seniors (aged 51-59) and super seniors (60 and up), professionals and amateurs, according to SPGAP commissioner Yutaka Sogay.
The new SPGAP board, headed by president Robert Pactolerin, is inviting all members to join the 18-hole tournament sponsored by Eight Inc., Ka Tei Solar, Chintain Hosho and Jajeco Products.
Cash prizes will be up for grabs for the seniors. For inquiries, contact Fred Superal at 0926-7408302 and 0930-9149526.
