APPOINTMENT PAPERS – As of this writing, several movie folk are hoping they’ll get appointment papers, giving them jobs in the Duterte administration.
Phillip Salvador and Nick Lizaso come to mind.
Will it be Cultural Center of the Philippines for Nick, who is a Duterte friend from way back? Both are outstanding Bedans, Nick high school and Digong law.
How about Movie & Television Review & Classification Board?
But then current MTRCB Chair Toto Villareal is doing good and might just be retained.
Perhaps Phillip can be considered for a slot in the MTRCB board. Ipe is an old friend, often visiting the President in Davao City, then mayor. He wanted to play Digong onscreen. But sorry the then mayor wasn’t interested.
Already in place are Kat de Castro, Jimmy Bondoc, and Arnel Ignacio.

OTHER NAMES – Freddie Aguilar is said to be “in” at the National Commission for Culture and the Arts.
Aiza Seguerra and Liza aren’t keen on government positions. They want to concentrate on having a baby.
ER Ejercito is eyeing a tourism post, but he has to wait for one year.
Just a thought. Richard Gutierrez is an athlete, admired by many. How about a slot in the Philippine Sports Commission?
And Mocha Uson? Can’t think of a job for her.
Vice Ganda? He doesn’t need a government job.
