BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The investments of micro, small and medium enterprises in the province for the first six months of the year reached nearly P420 million.
During the recent Kapihan ng DTI-Bataan with local newsmen based here, Officer in charge Nelin Cabahug said the investments were mostly from the trading and service sectors, employing 3,588 workers.
Also Cabahug said, DTI staged 27 business development trainings in the province for the first six months of the year, benefiting 968 entrepreneurs.
Under the Small and Medium Enterprise Roving Academy program, DTI conducted trainings on starting a small business, packaging and labeling, business registration, basic bookkeeping, tax, and business writing among others.
