UNEASY PIOLO, JUDY ANN: A bit of uncertainty and tentativeness hovered between Piolo Pascual and JudyAnn Santos when they came face to face for the first time in a long time at ABS-CBN’s 9501 Executive Lounge the other day.
Both remained formal as they stood side by side in a rare photo opportunity together although they told media in separate interviews earlier that all’s well between them despite a long lull in their onscreen partnership.
Both also claimed they’re ready for an onscreen reconciliation as a tribute to their fans who have long been clamoring for the return of then Piolo-Judy Ann loveteam. The couple was last seen together in a film 10 years ago.
Piolo, ever the creative, said he has stumbled upon an ideal material for the two of them. He has, in fact, sent a copy of the storyline to Judy Ann, whom he acknowledged as one of the persons he owes his success to.

FEUD SETTLED: For her part, Judy Ann said, “May mga inayos sa aming bagay-bagay. Pangit naman na at this age naming ito eh hindi pa kami magkakasundo,” she said something to that effect. The veteran actress was referring to a feud that started innocently years ago but has since been settled and forgotten hopefully.
“Otherwise, we’re OK,” she said.

POWERHOUSE CAST: Piolo and Judy Ann are just four of the entertainment industry’s brightest stars who have come together to promote financial literacy in Sun Life Financial’s latest campaign, “Money for Life.”
The two others are actor and triathlete Matteo Guidicelli and and top network executive Charo Santos-Concio.
“Money for Life” is a comprehensive and customizable financial planning program that will help a client ensure that he will have sufficient funds no matter where life takes him and whatever life stage he may be in.
As endorsers of the “Money for Life” campaign, Charo, Piolo, Judy Ann, and Matteo star in Sun Life’s latest TV commercial.
“These four stars are admired in the industry not just because of shows and movies they’ve starred in. It’s because of who they are beyond the screen and how they are in real life,” according to Mylene Daez-Lopa of Sun Life.
