Are you a CERTIFIED WORRIER?
You are such an expert when it comes to worrying. You worry about everything and anything.
Have you ever experienced these?
When you didn’t have a job, you worried, “It’s so hard to look for a job! How will I be able to provide for my family’s needs?”
When you already found a job, you started worrying, “What if I lose my job?”
When you didn’t have money, you worried that “I don’t have any money anymore. What will I do about the bills that I have to pay for?”
When you were able to get money, you started to worry, “Oh no, what if my money runs out?!”
Haven’t you noticed, when you didn’t have money, you were so worried. When you were able to get money, you were still worried. When you didn’t have a job, you were worried. When you were already able to get a job, you were still worried!
Here’s the truth: Worrying is a BAD HABIT.
We need to fix and get rid of this habit, otherwise, you and I will live a very STRESSFUL and UNPRODUCTIVE life. We will lose precious time in worrying and unending stress.
If you are tired of thinking of negative situations and you are telling yourself “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH” and you want to stop worrying once and for all, let me tell you this:
WORRY ENDS WHEN FAITH BEGINS
In order for us to stop worrying, we need to surrender everything to God. We need to trust God and depend on God.
Instead of worrying, let’s put our faith in God. Worry will not do us good. Worry will not pay our bills. Worry will not be able to do anything. It will only make us paralyzed, stop on our tracks, and be completely helpless.
I encourage you, instead of worrying, let’s put our faith in God.
Start believing God that things will get better, that things will turn around, that your income will increase, and that you can get out of poverty debt.
Just like what God said in His word: “Do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear.”
Stop worrying, and start depending on God. Do not tell God how big your problem is, but tell your problem how big your God is!
THINK. REFLECT. APPLY.
Are you a worrier? Have you surrendered everything to God? Have you depended on God and trusted God that He will provide for you and meet your needs? (Chinkee Tan)
