JUST A THOUGHT: For beautiful eyes, look for the good in others. For beautiful lips, speak only words of kindness. And for poise, walk with the knowledge that you are never alone. – Audrey Hepburn

CO-STAR GETTING MARRIED: There is no truth to rumour that ABS-CBN has decided to cut short Tubig at Langis’ TV run due to Isabelle Daza’s forthcoming marriage.
It started as a joke, business unit head RuelBayani said during a recent thanksgiving dinner.
The truth is,Tubig at Langis has done so well in afternoon ratings that network has pushed it on and on to a record 32 weeks on air. Bayani said the series is finally closing on Sept. 9.
The show’s scheduled ending has thus allowed Isabelle more time to focus on preparations for her wedding set in Italy, also in September.

MOST DEMANDING ROLE: Isabelle plays a demanding role in the drama series inspired by a Danny Zialcita film called Langis at Tubig.
The rising actress transforms from a naïve provinciana to a crazy, mad-for-love woman in Tubig. She admits it has been her most difficult role thus far. Happily, for a relative newbie in the craft, she proves herself equal to the task.
Meanwhile, the show’s producers promise that Irene and Natoy’s (Cristine Reyes and ZanjoeMarudo, respectively) love for family will be put to test as the series nears its intense finale.
Just when Irene thought she and Natoy can finally start anew with their baby, peril lurks once more after Clara (Isabelle Daza) manages to escape from jail. Clara is more furious than ever and more determined to destroy the lives of the Villadolid family especially following her miscarriage.
Bayani takes pride in saying that “Tubig at Langis” is one of the most watched ABS-CBN series in afternoon television this 2016. It continues to dominate its timeslot in national TV ratings and has record-high rating of 21.1% nationwide according to data from Kantar Media.
“Tubig at Langis” airs after “Doble Kara” on ABS-CBN. (NESTOR CUARTERO)
