Ingredients:
4 pcs boneless chicken breast, skin removed and pounded thinly
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
2 cup all-purpose flour
4 pcs egg, beaten
2 cups breadcrumbs
Cooking oil for pan-frying
2 tbsp tomato paste
2 tbsp olive oil
250 g crushed tomatoes
1/8 tsp oregano
Salt as needed
Black pepper as needed
Procedure:
1. Season chicken on both sides with salt and black pepper. Dredge each breast in flour. Dip in the egg and dredge both sides with breadcrumbs.
2. In a pan, heat oil over high heat and add chicken and fry on both sides. Remove from pan and drain on paper towels. Set aside.
3. In a sauce pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add tomato paste, crushed tomatoes and oregano. Simmer and add salt and black pepper to taste.
4. In a serving plate, put chicken, top with tomato sauce. Drizzle with garlic cheese sauce.
Garlic cheese sauce:
Ingredients:
½ cup fresh milk
1 tbsp all-purpose flour
½ tsp garlic powder
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
1/8 tsp white pepper
Procedure:
1. In a sauce pan over medium-low heat, whisk together milk, flour and garlic powder. Simmer until thickened.
2. Stir in cheese and white pepper until melted and smooth.
