ACTRESS Bela Padilla has recommended camps for broken hearts so that they would be healed from a failed relationship.
“Sana may mga camps for these people for them to realize… like if a part of your body hurts, there’s the hospital.
And if you’re addicted to drugs or alcohol, you have this rehab. Heartbreak should be taken as serious as these cases. Love is an addiction” said Padilla, during an interview on “Tonight with Boy Abunda” on ABS-CBN.
Reacting to Padilla’s recommendation, Abunda said that love is an addiction no one can escape.
“Everybody goes through it. Kalimitan nahihiya tayong pag-usapan ’yan. May stigma. People equate pagkasawi sa pagkatalo,” Abunda also said.
Padilla, 25, appeared on the show to promote her latest movie “Camp Sawi” which will be shown soon.
“One of the reasons why we created this film… I’ve watched so many hugot movies, so much of them. ‘One More Chance’ will always be one of my favorites. I’m a big fan of Popoy and Basha. We wanted sana people to watch a movie…
something about healing and not about breaking up,” she said.
“’Camp Sawi’ is really a movie about healing. Ako po, I can’t personally give an advice because when I broke up (with my past boyfriend), it took me three years bago ako naka-move on,” Padilla added.
“But I hope with this film, even if we can help just one person, I’ll be happy. For me, I think you can also talk to people who are going through pain,” she said.
During the “Fast Talk” segment of the show, Padilla said that she is a submissive girlfriend and believes in forever.
Padilla also said that women should never cry over men and men should never hurt women.
“Camp Sawi” also stars Andi Eigenmann, Arci Muñoz, Yassi Pressman, Kim Padilla, and Sam Milby. A release date has yet to be announced.
Padilla, who was last seen in the popular primetime Kapamilya teleserye “Ang Probinsyano,” is in a relationship with Kapuso artist Neil Arce. She is the niece of action Robin Padilla.
