If DZBB radio anchors Arnold “Igan” Clavio, Ali Sotto, and Mike Enriquez were to be asked, Kapamilya stars Bea Alonzo and Gerald Anderson have rekindled their flame.
Alonzo and Anderson, stars of the blockbuster movie “How to Be Yours?”, were the subject of a blind item of their morning radio show last Thursday, Aug. 25.
Igan told listeners that the two actors seemed to have rekindled their romance when they were seen shopping at S&R.
Clavio then played the OPM ballad “Be My Lady” by Martin Nievera. Enriquez sang along but changed it to “Bea My Lady”.
Igan played Simon and Garfunkel’s “Mrs. Robinson” and co-anchor Sotto changed it to “Gerald Anderson”.
In April, Anderson said that the spark for Alonzo is still there.
“Para sa akin never naman nawala. Tignan mo naman s’ya, lagi s’yang may spark,” said Anderson, as he referred to Alonzo, during an interview in “Tonight with Boy Abunda” over ABS-CBN.
Alonzo, 28, said then that it is too early to confirm the spark Anderson was talking about. “Too early to tell. Right now na-excite pa rin ako to see him and look at him ang gwapo.”
“But it’s gonna come out kahit anong mangyari,” said Anderson who confirmed that he and Alonzo dated in 2010.
Alonzo said that the plan for them to make a movie has been discussed for many years – but it is only now that the project materialized. “Matagal na dapat kaming magkatrabaho pero ngayon lang talaga natuloy. So baka ito na ’yung tamang timing.”
Alonzo was last seen in the 2015 hit movie “A Second Chance” while Anderson starred in the film “Always Be My Maybe” earlier this year.
Anderson, 27, is still single after he split with actress Maja Salvador. Previously, Alonzo was in a relationship with actor Zanjo Marudo.
