STILL GOING STRONG – A few years back, this columnist told Sarah Geronimo in jest, “Wag mo nang pakawalan si Matteo (Guidicelli). He’s a good catch.”
At that time, there were whispers that Matteo was courting Sarah over the objections of her parents. Matteo openly says that he intends to marry Sarah. And that he’s preparing financially for that eventuality.
This he said so at the presscon introducing Matteo as the endorser of Sun Life, showing two opposite Matteos in its latest TV commercial. One brags about his material possessions to impress a girl, while the other woos her by promising a brighter future together with the help of Sun Life Prosperity Card.
Very effective promo as it comes close to the real Matteo, who’s serious, sensible, responsible… but enjoys life.
To quote Sun Life exec Valerie Pama, “Instead of using up all of one’s money in trendy items that will soon be replaced by a new fad, why not invest it for the long term and watch it grow?” For as low as P5,000 one may invest in Sun Life Prosperity Card. Visit sunlifeprosperity.com.ph.

WEDDING BELLS – Yes, people are asking when wedding bells for Matteo and Sarah will be ringing.
Perhaps it’s too early to ask or expect. Their careers are still at their peak and there’s more to be accomplished.
Earlier said that Matteo is a good catch. But so is Sarah, the singing sweetheart. Such a nice lady… at a time when there are not too many of them.
Like in a fairy tale, may Princess Sarah and Conde Matteo love and live happily ever after.

LOVE GONE SOUR – How about showbiz marriages and love affairs that have gone sour?
Caesar Montano and Sunshine Cruz.
Another Sunshine, Dizon, and non-showbiz husband.
Andi Eigenmann and Jake Ejercito.
Jasmine Curtis-Smith and Sam Concepcion.
Lovi Poe and Rocco Nacino.
Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson. Add Maja Salvador. But Gerald and Bea Alonzo remain friends despite the break-up. In fact, there are rumors of “balik-romansa.”
