SINGER-composer Yeng Constantino has said that she has a very understanding husband who supports her in all her projects in show business.
“Buti na lang understanding s’ya and he knows na dream ko po talaga ito,” said Constantino during an interview on “Tonight with Boy Abunda” on ABS-CBN.
Constantino, 27, is married to fellow musician and worship director Victor “Yan” Asuncion. They tied the knot at a resort in Tagaytay on Feb. 14, 2015.
The pop-rock singer also said that she and her husband prayed for all her projects to come true.
And then we check it,” she said.
‘Pinoy Boy Band Superstar’
Constantino said that she will sit as judge for the new talent search dubbed “Pinoy Boy Band Superstar” on the Kapamilya network.
“We’re looking for the next biggest boy band in history.”
As judge in the boy band search, Constantino said that she will put herself into the shoes of a fan.
“’Yan, I love you with all my heart but s’yempre bilang isang judge, nilalagay ko ’yung sarili ko sa sapatos ng isang fan.
So you have to compromise kasi syempre, iniisip mo rin ’yung marketable na miyembro.
Aside from appearing on the “Tawag ng Tanghalan” segment of the noontime program “It’s Showtime” and being a businesswoman, Constantino said that she is busy with her musical entitled “Ako si Josephine” under the Philippine Education Theater Association. It is set to debut on Sept. 8.
Three years in the making po ito . Sobrang huhusay nila,” she said.
In April, Constantino went international after her song “Wonderful Life (Mi Oh My) became part of the movie soundtrack of the animated film “Angry Birds the Movie.”
Constantino shot to fame when she won the grand prize in “Pinoy Dream Academy” inaugural season in 2006. She also composed popular Filipino songs such as “Hawak Kamay,” “Chinito,” “Ikaw,” among others.
