Are you the next Philippine representative to the Miss World beauty pageant?
Cory Quirino, Miss World Philippines national director, said that the final screening for the official candidates of the 2016 Miss World Philippines contest has been extended up to Thursday, September 1, 2016.
“Our line up is shaping up to be super smart,” said Quirino, who said that final deadline was arranged as a special accommodation to provincial candidates whose travel plans were delayed due to the recent typhoon.
The special screening will be held at the VIVA Office, 7th Floor, Tektite Bldg., East Tower, Ortigas, Pasig City.
Quirino said that the official candidates will be presented to the press on Monday, Sept. 5.
The Miss World beauty pageant is the longest-running international contest in history.
In the 65th history of the beauty contest, the Philipppine bagged the crown once. Megan Lynne Young is the first title holder from the Philippines.
