The Philippine National Police (PNP) now has the identities of four suspects or “persons of interest” who were allegedly behind the bombing in Davao City last Friday night that claimed the lives of 14 individuals and injured 70 others.
PNP chief Director General Ronald Dela Rosa said on Monday that they have already identified the “physical identities” of the four suspects and that they are now proceeding with the legal aspects such as their names and their possible links with terrorist groups.
Dela Rosa added that there is now a “big breakthrough” in the investigation they are conducting in connection with the bloody explosion in Davao City.
However, the PNP chief refused to give the details as doing so may hamper their ongoing investigation.
Dela Rosa said they already have the “cartographic sketch” about the four suspects who were allegedly seen in the place before the explosion.
As of Monday, the authorities are taking action to locate the four suspects.
The incident led to President Duterte to declare a state of lawlessness in the entire country.
Malacañang however assured that the measure is not aimed at supressing the public’s movement around the nation eventhough they called for a full cooperation from everyone. (PNA)
