Star Hotshots shooting guard James Yap has invited his son Bimby to visit his baby brother Michael James.
However, Yap said that he has not received any word from former wife actress-television host Kris Aquino, mother of Bimby.
“Sana makita ni Bimby ang kapatid nya (I hope Bimby could see his brother),” said Yap, 34, during an interview with “Showbiz Talk Ganern” host Gorgy Rula on DZRH recently.
On August 8, Michela Cazzola, girlfriend of Yap, gave birth to her first born Michael James.
Yap said he and his girlfriend are taking care of their son hands-on and they have not decided on hiring a nanny.
“Nag-e-enjoy ako, lalo na si Mic kasi nasusubaybayan niya talaga ang paglaki ng baby namin,” said Yap.
The two-time Most Valuable Player (MVP) awardee said that he has not spoken to Bimby lately.
The couple have yet to release to media a photo of their baby. Yap said that his girlfriend will have to decide on that soon.
Baby Michael James is Yap’s third son. The basketball star has another son from a previous girlfriend.
Bimby, 9, currently studies at Brent International School in Laguna. He has also appeared in TV commercials, movies and billboards.
