TOUCHED – Got to read lots of magazines lately – People, OK!, In Touch, Vanity Fair, Time, US among others – and was touched by two on children. One heartwarming and the other heartbreaking.
By the way, thanks to colleague Ricky Lo of Star for all those mags which he brought home from his frequent trips abroad, mostly in the US of A.
The two items are about Prince George of England and the tragic JonBenét Ramsey of Boulder, Colorado.

PRINCE GEORGE – “The Little Prince Charming is Little Prince Darling!”, wrote a reader of people, Lynne Wickerham, reacting to a cover story of the three-year-old royal.
The whole of England, probably the world, is going crazy, in a manner of speaking, over the future King of the British Empire, the son of Prince William and Duchess Kate (Middleton). He has a little sister, Princess Charlotte.
There are wild speculations that Prince Charles has decided to step aside to allow William and Kate to become the next King and Queen of England. Which make the Little Prince next in succession to the throne. Camilla, Charles’ second wife, is said to be “furious” because she’d never be Queen.
Charles’ first wife was, of course, Princess Diana, the mother of William and Harry.
News about Prince George warms the heart.

JONBENÉT – Now, here’s the heartbreaking item.
On Dec. 26, 1996, six-year-old JonBenét Ramsey was found brutally beaten and strangled to death in the basement of the family mansion in Boulder, Colorado. But until now her brutal murder remains unsolved, a mystery.
All sorts of speculations, theories, even “solution” have been advanced by authorities and private investigator. Even JonBenét’s parents, John and Patsy Ramsey were falsely implicated.
She was the joy of her parents, very pretty and smart, joining beauty contests for little girls which she invariably won. JonBenét could have been Miss America or Miss Universe.
JonBenét’s older brother Bruke, now 29, says all the stress from losing the then six-year-old daughter caused her mother’s death. He prays that JonBenét’s real killer is caught. He believes the killer “is still out there.”
