A low-pressure area in the vicinity of Guiuan, Eastern Samar will bring rains to Zamboanga Peninsula, Caraga, Dinagat, Eastern Samar, and Palawan today.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration said light to moderate rains and thunderstorms are expected over the rest of Eastern Visayas and Bohol, Cebu, and Negros.
Mindanao, Eastern Visayas, Batanes, and Babuyan Group of Islands will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms.
The rest of the country, including Metro Manila, will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
Light to moderate winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over Northern and Central Luzon coming from the southwest to west over the rest of the country.
The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.
