Rain or Shine parades will once again make an import change as they Joshua Dollard when they face defending champion San Miguel Beer in an important tiff in the season-ending PBA Governors’ Cup today at the Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena in Pasay City.
Dollard, who played for the now-defunct Barako Bull, arrived last Wednesday as replacement for Jason Forte. Dollard is the fourth reinforcement of ROS as the team also had Dior Lowhorn and Greg Smith who failed to make the height limit.
The game between SMB and ROS in this Petron Saturday Special is set at 5:15 p.m., right after the 3 p.m. game of Phoenix Fuel and Alaska.
Two years ago, the 6-foot-5 Dollard played for Barako Bull and averaged 32.56 points and 15.22 rebounds with 1.89 assists and 1.22 steals.
“The good thing about Josh Dollard, like Jason Forte and Dior Lowhorn, he’s also familiar with the PBA style of play,” said ROS coach Yeng Guiao. “With two practices, he’s showing chemistry with the locals.” (Waylon P. Galvez)
