Multi-titled Chiang Kai Shek College stayed on course for another perfect run by claiming its fourth straight win in the premier Division A while Philippine Sun Yat Sen High School and Pace Academy also remained undefeated in their respective divisions in the 27th Filipino Chinese Amateur Athletic Federation (FCAAF).
After their massive 96-43 win over St. Stephen’s High School last week, the CKSC Blue Dragons survived the challenge of long-time rival Hope Christian High School, 87-78, to move within three wins of sweeping the elims.
CKSC posted the biggest winning margin in its division by crushing Philippine Cultural College, 113-31, in the tournament sponsored by Freego Jeans, MEC Networks and World Balance with Molten as official ball.
They also overwhelmed Paco Citizen Academy Foundation, 80-52.
Manila Patriotic School picked up its third win in four games with a 100-58 drubbing of MGC New Life Chistian Academy while St. Jude Catholic School tied Hope for third to fourth places with an 85-56 win over PCC.
Philippine Sun Yat Sen High School, on the other hand, rolled to its third consecutive win in Group B1 with a 75-18 massacre of CCF New Life Academy while Pace trounced St. Peter de Apostle School, 79-39, in Group B2.
Meantime, Phil. Chen Kuang HS stunned Uno High School, 62-54, for its first win in two games in Group B1 while Chiang Kai Shek College also streaked to its fourth win in the Developmental 1 with a 64-38 win over Philadelphia School.
SSHC also stormed to its fourth straight win in the Development 2 division with a pulsating 53-51 win over St. Jude.
