The pioneering Best Center (Basketball Efficiency and Scientific Training Center) resumes its Saturday-only classes at the Xavier School today.
The multi-awarded clinics cited by the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) and a Hall-of-Fame Awardee by the Philippine Sportswriters Association will be held from 1-4:30 p.m. Last day of enrollment for Preparatory Level, Levels 1, 2 and 3 is also today.
New sessions for basketball and volleyball at the Ateneo College Covered Courts, meanwhile, are also set today from 8-11:30 a.m.
The Ateneo basketball sessions are for students in Preparatory Level, Levels, 1, 2, 3 and 4.
Volleyball sessions are for students in Levels 1 and 2.
Meanwhile, Adamson scored two wins over the weekend to march undefeated into the semifinals of the Best Center’s Passerelle basketball tournament for the youth also at the Xavier School gym.
Adamson scuttled San Sebastian College, 59-36, before crushing Nazareth School of National University, 58-41, for six straight triumphs in Group B heading into the semifinals.
It was joined by De la Salle-Zobel which tabbed its fifth win in six games also at the expense of SSC, 63-56.
Semifinalist La Salle Greenhills-A (6-0) swept Group A via a 77-73 beating of Ateneo, which also made it to the next round at 5-1.
LSGH-A, San Beda College-Rizal, Ateneo and Xavier School-A completed the Small Basketeers Philippines’ semifinals cast in this twin tournaments sponsored by Milo and backed by Christ Sports and Rain of Shine.
