The Dalai Lama ventured very briefly into American politics by giving a good-humored impression of US Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on British television.
The exiled Tibetan spiritual leader gave an interview to “Good Morning Britain” on ITV which aired on Thursday and which shows him bringing his hand up to his head to gesture Trump’s much-publicized hairstyle.
“And his mouth, small,” the Dalai Lama added. During the interview, the Buddhist monk also said that, if Trump were to invite him for a meeting, he would go.
