Actress singer Toni Gonzaga gave birth to healthy baby boy Severiano Elliott through normal delivery yesterday morning.
This was confirmed by her husband Paul Soriano through his statement on social media. His statement read:
“Severiano Elliott Gonzaga Soriano (Seve) has arrived! Born 5:23 am on Sept. 30, 2016 at 7.2 lbs. Tin and Seve are doing great and now taking it easy. Thank you for all your prayers and support! God bless. #BabyBoy,” Soriano said.
Seve is the first child of Gonzaga and Soriano.
Crisanta Gonzaga, mother of Toni and talent manager of the actress, said in an interview on ABS-CBN that her daughter didn’t really have a hard time delivering the baby.
“Super hindi siya nahirapan sa contractions. It’s only this morning siya nag-start mag-push, so doon siya nahirapan,” Mrs. Gonzaga said.
Mrs. Gonzaga also said they are very excited about Severiano who is her first grandchild.
“First apo on both sides, kaya nakakatuwa kasi first apo, even sa side ni Paul. Paul is the eldest and Toni is also my eldest, so first apo talaga. Wala pang may asawa sa side ni Paul,” she said.
Gonzaga and Soriano got married in June 2015.
Some of the films which Soriano directed include “Thelma,” “Transit,” “Kid Kulafu,” and “Dukot.”
Gonzaga, 32, was last seen in the blockbuster films “Starting Over Again,” and “You’re My Boss.” She regularly appears on the Sunday variety show “ASAP” and the sit-com “Home Sweetie Home” both on ABS-CBN.
