Sa Kapuso network unang nagkaroon ng showbiz career si Alden noong 2010 sa pamamagitan ng teleseryeng “Alakdana” kung saan naging ka-loveteam niya si Louise delos Reyes.
Six years later ay isa na siyang hot property at in-demand celebrity dahil sa phenomenal na Kalye-serye ng “Eat Bulaga.”
Naging top loveteam sila ni Maine Mendoza a.k.a. Yaya Dub at patuloy ang pagiging endorser nila ng maraming malalaking produkto.
“Masaya naman po talaga ako to be part of GMA, and to be still part of GMA in the years to come kasi parang since I started po all the people have been supporting and guiding me in my career.
“Kumbaga, loyalty will pay off sooner or later.
“Parang ’yun po ’yung naging working ethics ko with GMA, na I remained loyal to the network regardless of the circumstances that passed and that’s up ahead.
“The network has been good to me, very supportive. I can feel the support and love coming from them so I really feel that I’m safe with GMA, and that I feel at home with GMA. It’s where my heart is,” diin pa ni Alden Richards.
Malapit na ring ilabas ang second album niya under GMA Records titled “Say It Again” kung saan ang first single nito na “Rescue Me” ay isa sa top digital downloads ng iTune Philippines.
Maabot din kaya ng bago niyang album ang natamong 8-times Platinum status ng album niyang “Wish I May?”
“Ayoko pong isipin ’yon. Kasi noong nilabas ang ‘Wish I May,’ wala kaming expectations. Nakaka-overwhelm lang ang suporta na binigay ng AlDub Nation sa album natin na iyon,” ngiti pa niya.
Lumipad for London last September 29 si Alden para sa kanyang gagawing show sa Troxy Theatre on October 2 titled “At Last in London” kung saan makakasama niya ang Filipino pianist na si Kate Torralba, “Britain’s Got Talent” 2016 finalist Zyrah Rose, at “X-Factor” Hungary 2014 finalist na Spoon 21.
