Isang yum yum yum na araw na naman ng pagluluto ang tiyak na magpapa-happy sa inyo ngayon! Kung inaakala ninyong ang mga magagaling na chefs lamang sa mga restaurants ang marunong magluto ng isang classy recipe, ngayon ay maaari niyo na ring ihanda ito sa inyong mga bahay sa pamamagitan ng ituturo kong katakam-takam na dish – ang American BBQ Ribs.
Siguradong magiging memorable ang inyong simpleng tanghalian o hapunan dahil wala nang mas sasarap pa sa isang home-made dish na kayo mismo ang naghanda para sa inyong pamilya.
Ingredients:
1 rack ( 1-2 kilos) American Ribs, skin and fat trimmed
½ cup honey
½ cup apple juice
5 cloves of garlic, chopped
½ cup of catsup
½ cup brown sugar
½ cup pineapple juice
2 pcs bay leaves
1 tbsp peppercorns
1 cup white onion, chopped
1 cup celery, chopped
1 cup carrots, chopped
2 tsp. salt
1 cup chicken stock
½ cup parsley chopped
¼ cup tbsp. red wine vinegar
Procedure:
1. In a pan, mix all ingredients together except for the red wine vinegar, place the rack of ribs and marinade for 30 – 45 minutes.
2. In a cooking pan (that will fit the size of the rib) place the marinated ribs and let it boil.
3. Once it boil, reduce the heat to low until it simmer. Cook the pork until fork tender.
4. Remove the pork ribs to the stock, set aside.
5. Continue to simmer the stock until thick. In a food processor or blender, blend the thicken sauce until fine. Save a portion of it and set aside for the sauce.
6. Pre-heat the griller. Place the rib on the grill basting with the remaining sauce. Grill the rib until the sauce gets caramelize / charred.
7. For the sauce, re heat the remaining sauce in a sauce pan and add the red wine vinegar.
8. Serve the rib with the sauce on the side.
