St. Stephen’s High School outlasted Philadelphia High School, 47-39, and advanced to the semis of the Developmental division in the 12th Filipino Chinese Amateur Athletic Federation at the CKSC gym.
In the semis, St. Stephen’s, the top seed in Group ll, will face Grace Christian College, which earned a semis berth following a 48-37 victory over Pace Academy.
Also gaining semis berths in the event sponsored by Freego Jeans, World Balance and MEC Networks with Molten as official ball, were Group 1 top seed Chiang Kai Shek College, which romped to an 82-70 win over Jubilee Christian Academy, and St. Jude Catholic School, which trounced MGC New Life Christian Academy, 73-39.
Meantime, Carlo Lim erupted for 31 points as Jubilee Christian Academy beat Philippine Sun Yat Sen High, 78-71, to arrange a sudden death on Thursday.
St. Peter de Apostle School entered the semis round with a 92-71 win over Philippine Chen Kuang High School.
